Movement of the Sonic BaitFish depends on which of three options an angler uses to attach it to his line.  The lure can be cast, swam, jigged or trolled.  It is effective year around including being jigged through the ice.  Few other lures if any provide the ability to dramatically vary your approach and the versatility to fish in so many situations.

Remember to rig in the various ways so to entice the most fish, including changing the hooks out to match the situation.

Fresh & Saltwater

Anytime the bite dies, I downsize the Sonic Baitfish. This technique almost never fails whether I'm fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, Great Lakes or the Pacific NW and Alaska. Like us humans, we may refuse a full meal but never a tiny snack. The new 1/16 size in the Sonic BaitFish may be tiny but it catches a large variety of good-sized fresh and salt water species. Because of its versatility, I can fish the world with this lure, and mostly have, without the need to rely on another lure type as it's equally effective whether cast, jigged or trolled. On a final note, check out the action of the new 1 oz Sonic BaitFish. This is a deadly multi-species metal jig! Fish the gold finish in tea-stained waters. I have great success with the glow chartreuse finish in the Gulf of Mexico and for walleyes and yellow perch in the Great Lakes and for kokanee in the Pacific NW. Glow white can also be fished anywhere. Actually, all of these finishes have proven to be very effective. I attach to the nose about 90% and to the top of the back 10% of the time. Pete
